Uniting Souls proudly presents the “Honey’s T-shirt” remixes

USM015 – Honey’s T-shirt – LaTina Webb feat. remixes by Johnny Fiasco, DJ Sulli & 5657, and Quazzy

LATINA WEBB

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter LaTina has shared her elegant, bird-like vocals with the world for as long as she could talk. She got her big break touring the world with the legendary El Debarge. Her backup vocals most recently compliment the soulful Maxwell and his tour. LaTina’s up-tempo pop sound has harmonized easily with everyone from Barry White, Brandi, Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake, to Macy Gray, Eric Benet, and Jodi Watley. LaTina also performs her own music as a solo artist. She recently completed her debut album titled T.I.T.S. (Toes In The Sand).

DJ SULLI & 5657
Reno-based artists Sean Sullivan & Cody Nasir, aka SULLi & 5657, have been doing their thing in the biggest lil’ city since the early 90′s… But it was only recently that they came together in the studio… Sulli a globally recognized Deep House zealot… and Dj 5657, a veteran peak hour dj with a taste for slammin’ filtered grooves. They make an unlikely duo, but in the short time working together they have been on a prolific production binge with releases on a number of respected labels including Selekta Recordings, Aspect Audio, and Uniting Souls Music… In 2012 they launched they’re own imprint Hype & Soul Recordings and have since dropped a string of dance floor heaters. But beyond the studio, it is on the decks in front of a vibing crowd that these two artists shine. Memorable, spontaneous DJ performances are the fuel that has kept these two in the game for more than 20 years!

QUAZZY
Nostalgic Portland industrial’s, car rides with Dad, dreaming of a different kind of life, always wondering what happened behind those factory corners at night. I grew up with Love in my heart but had a growing desire to breathe on my own, I knew there was something they were hiding. Classic rock influences followed by 90′s Kandi Trance drew my attention towards this secrete night life. Rebellious and expressive, free from all the pain of greed driven societies, watching them all let go, I was home. While attending a private school freshman year to become a pilot, I realized I had everything it takes to reach my dreams, and would never let that go. I dropped my first needle that year and instantly fell in Love.

In 2011 the underground called my name and I organized my first renegade under a bridge in Seattle. Finally, I was behind that factory corner, the mysterious underground spirit had come alive and it was all real. Earlier that year I began classes for audio recording and production, the whole vision suddenly felt so possible, so necessary. In the studio my heart writes the Trance elements and my body writes the Tech & Minimal. Behind the decks I keep it diverse, hard hitting progressive supported with funky tribal house beats, for for a night at the warehouse, expect Tech all the way! After three and a half years of passionate work I was asked to be a Resident Artist with Uniting Souls and will be releasing my first official remix (Honey’s Tshirt) on the label along with 12 originals independently. The journey has been everything I hoped for. I live to move you, inspire you, Love you and Believe in you. I wouldn’t have made it this far without the same in return, thank you for your Love, keep dreaming.
