Derricks’ roots with House Music began over 15 years ago in San Francisco, where he was truly inspired by some of most influential artists of Underground House. Now, a well-known and much respected resident of Seattle, Derrick's Bay-Area roots reflect in his DJ sets and in his production work. He has pioneered his own unique sound that vibrates with an exhilarating amount of style and grace. Through releasing his productions on vinyl & digital music, Derrick has been successful at manifesting his vision, which is sought by music lovers all over the world.

After gaining an exceptional amount of experience in the art of DJ'ing, Derrick became a resident with Uniting Souls. Nearly 12 years later, Derrick has remained at the forefront of the Seattle House & Techno music industry. He has played with Mark Farina, Doc Martin, DJ Heather, Derrick Carter, Pezzner, Jimpster, Miguel Migs, Eddie Richards, Nathan Coles, Lance Desardi, Kaskade, and many more!

Today, this Seattle prodigy is widely known and honored for orchestrating masterpiece all-vinyl performances on the fly with a very vibrant degree of Spirit and Soul. Some of the most unique qualities about Derricks performances can be found in his seamless mixing techniques, clean cut sound quality, and his consistency in providing the latest of cutting edge & forward-thinking, deep, soulful, minimal, tribal, tech, psychedelic, jazz, Soul, and heavy, yet not oppressive bass-lines.

You can catch Derrick and the rest of the Uniting Souls crew at places like the Monkey Loft, Substation, Re-bar, Cascadia Festival, ADB Festival, Aquafunk Boat Parties,  and other one-off events that are often revered as extraordinary by Seattle’s underground community.
